ACA – Ancona Città Aperta (Ancona Open City)
“Welcome to University. Welcome to Ancona: a city where there’s nothing to do”.
Or at least this is what they say.
Ancona Open City is an emotional map made by university students for their fellows, aimed at guiding the freshers in the discovery of the apparently hidden treasures of Ancona: woods, secret caves, sunrises and sunsets on the sea, art and culture locations…
Through a path designed in three modules- Artistic planning, Photography, Storytelling- the participants created texts, images and poetry that are collected in a guide available at the student’s office of the Polytechnic University of the Marche.
The guide must be used in combination with Artwalks, the app to discover cities in a playful and interactive way.
Download the app for free and select the path Ancona Città Aperta: wish you a good journey!
The ACA project has been possible thanks to the support of the Marche Region and the Youth Department and National Civil Service.
The training was conducted by Federico Bomba and Alessia Tripaldi of Sineglossa and the artist Fabrizio Carotti, photographer
Partners of the project: Council of Ancona, Polytechnic University of the Marche, Wishot- Workshop of contemporary photography, Gulliver- University’s Left wing
