In partnership with Scuola Internazionale di Comix (International School of Comix)
CIP Cerca. Inquadra. Pensa (Look. Frame. Think) is an innovative tool that invites tourists and town residents alike to look at the historic center of Jesi with new eyes, through an “imagination machine.”
The CIP “machine” has an analogic design and is made by hand out of cardboard and wood; it contains photo frames on film which show historical details that have all but been forgotten.
For each of the twelve points of interest on the tour, the observer merely moves the slides and looks through the viewer to see the image superimposed on the detail s/he is seeing, thus bringing to light invisible details of local history.
CIP is a project by Tommaso Piagliapochi, designed and realized by Alessandro Dolciotti, Emanuele Todi, Samantha Capomasi and Tommaso Pigliapochi
Tutoring to design and implementation: Chris Rocchegiani e Ruan Rossetti (International School of Comix), Simone Alessandrini (ADIF Design)
The search of the points of historical-cultural interest of the city has been conducted with the support of Carlo Cecchi, Stefano Cinti, Archeoclub Italia – Jesi headquarter, FAI Jesi and Vallesina
