PHA – Post Human Architect

EDUCATION TO SUSTAINABLE SOCIAL INNOVATION

IN DECENTRALIZED AREAS

[Art+Science+Society]

Decentralized areas are indeed facing peculiar problems and challenges like emigration of young people due to lack of opportunities, depopulation, ageing, lack of infrastructure and services, low mobility, and economic problems. Covid-19 has emphasized these problems but also highlighted the potential of education and training to build resilience and foster sustainable and inclusive growth.

Post-Human Architect aims at developing, testing and disseminating an innovative methodology to be used by VET organisations and trainers in decentralized areas to educate young learners to sustainability and social innovation. By implementing this methodology, we aim at contributing to the building and reinforcement of resilient, future-proof and more attractive VET systems in decentralized areas, which can support young people to find educational opportunities and new

job opportunities tailored to their needs.

The main objectives of the project are:

  • Design and disseminate a framework of skills associated with the figure of post-human architect to be used by VET trainers to assess their skills or learners’ skills.
  • Design, test and disseminate a training methodology with training tools to be used by VET trainers in their activities with learners from decentralized areas.
  • Design, test and disseminate an educational game to practice the skills of Post-Human Architect in an informal, interactive and attractive way.
  • Create a certification system, in line with national and European qualification frameworks, for recognition and certification of Post-Human Architect skills.
